Ensuring that all children, boys and girls alike, have the opportunity to go to school is pivotal to realising children’s human rights. HREA offers the following e-learning courses designed to help you promote and protect children’s rights:

spotlightSpotlight: Rights of the Child rapid e-course

 

This self-directed e-course introduces you to the child rights protection framework and explores themes such as child labour, children in armed conflict, children with disabilities, the right to education and the right to health. The course combines text with rich multimedia, including videos and podcasts.

This self-paced course takes between 3 and 6 hours to complete and can be accessed at any time that is convenient. If you successfully complete a final test, you will earn a certificate of completion.

MonitoringChildRightsRegistration opens for Monitoring Children’s Rights blended learning course (online and Brussels, 15-17 October 2015)

This blended learning course introduces participants to the concept and practice of monitoring children’s rights. Participants will learn about methodologies for carrying out monitoring and respecting child participation, the basics of choosing or constructing a children’s rights indicator and applying results to promote and protect children’s rights.

This course consists of a self-directed e-course on the children’s rights framework and an intensive three-day workshop in Brussels (15-17 October 2015). Register by 1 August to obtain the early registration rate. More information and registration>>
