Evaluation in the Human Rights Education Field: Getting Started is one of the products of the international seminar "South-East-North: The Future of Human Rights Education". From 23-27 October 1995, nearly 30 leading human rights educationalist from 23 nations in Africa, Asia, Latin America, North America and Europe gathered in Soesterberg, the Netherlands to participate in this seminar, organised by the Netherlands Helsinki Committee.
Generous funding was provided by the Dutch Foreign Ministry, the Directorate-General for Development of the European Commission, NCDO and Novib.
