CEDAW 37th session: Concluding Comments



Dear Subscribers, 

We are pleased to provide you herewith the second 2007 distribution of
treaty body recommendations through the listserve administered by the
Treaties and Council Branch of the Office of the High Commissioner for
Human Rights.

For your information, we attach the Concluding Comments adopted by the
Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women at its
thirty-seventh session held from 15 January to 2 February 2007 in New
York, in respect of reports submitted by 15 States parties. The Concluding
Comments are provided in the final version and in the language of
adoption. The final versions, in all six official languages of the United

At its 38th session (14 May to 1 June 2007), the Committee will consider
the reports of the following States parties: Mauritania, Mozambique,
Niger, Pakistan, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Syrian Arab Republic, Vanuatu.

At its 39th session (23 July to 10 August 2007), the Committee will

Further attached is the revised global Reporting Schedule setting out the
tentative consideration of State reports by treaty and session in 2007 and
