[WCAR] Information Note N0 32 Working Group People of African Descent

Dear Colleagues,

       This is to inform you that the fourth session of the Working Group of
Experts on People of African Descent will take place at the United Nations
Office in Geneva, Palais des Nations, Conference, Room XXI, from 25 October
to 05 November 2004.

       The fourth session of the Working Group will begin at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday, 25 October 2004.

       The members of the Working Group are:

             Mr. George Nicolas Jabbour (Syrian Arab Republic)
             Mr. Peter Lesa Kasanda (Zambia)
             Mr. Roberto Borges Martins (Brazil)
             Ms. Irina Zlatescu (Romania)
             Mr. Joe Frans (Sweden)

       Interested non-governmental organizations that have consultative
status with the Economic and Social Council and non-governmental
organizations who were accredited for the World Conference against Racism
are invited to communicate the names of their representatives who will
attend the meeting only by fax +41 22 917 90 50 on letterhead, signed by
the appropriate official of your organization. For your information, please
find attached the report of the Working Group on its third sessions
(E/CN.4/2004/21) as well as the provisional agenda for its fourth session.
