Best wishes Sherif ------- Amnesty International (AI) seeks a Refugee and Migrants' Rights Coordinator to lead our work on behalf of refugees and asylum-seekers, the internally displaced and migrants. You will be the principal legal and policy adviser, taking the lead in developing strategies, plans and actions involving AI's staff and membership. You will advise on international standards, protection issues and individual cases; draft statements, reports and guidelines; participate in the development of training programs; represent AI internationally and to the media, and coordinate contacts with other organizations. The ability to effectively manage a small team is essential. The posts requires an in-depth knowledge of international refugee law and understanding of international refugee protection and migrants' rights issues and actors, excellent analytical, communication and representational skills and a sensitivity to different cultures and backgrounds.
