Andy (and other list members), Thanks for the update. I have contemplated making a proposal around trauma and the effects on the stranded peace process. I am a psychologist and tramatist but the fellows program seemed a bit intimidating as I am in practice and haven't been in academics for a long time. I have an idea about the cyclic nature of war and the neurophysiology of trauma that guarantees the cycle will repeat in predictable regions due to the changes in the neurological landcape of the neocortex after war. We seem to be relentlessly unaware of the part played by the untreated trauma of the peace makers in post warconflict, which is an oxymoron in itself. I am looking for others who have reached the place of frustration with continuing to look in the policy box for the answers.
