The Fulbright Scholar Program has several awards in conflict resolution and related fields in Israel and Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Awards are for lecturing/research. Areas of interest include conflict resolution, human rights and journalism, civic education/democracy, peace studies, environmental studies, global and intercultural communications, global stability and conflict, economic globalization, international business and international law, and educational issues pertaining to the roles of the university in society. Awards range in length from two months to a full academic year. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, hold the Ph.D. or equivalent professional degree at the time of application, and have at least three years of university teaching experience. Application deadline for 2003-04 academic year awards is August 1, 2002.
