[***This message was originally posted on the PSYSRL@LISTSERV.WHEATONMA.EDU listserv, Mod.***] People may also be interested in seeing the recently published "Graduate Level Curriculum for Trauma Intervention and Conflict Resolution in Ethnopolitical Warfare." This curriculum is a one-year blueprint for "training psychologists and related professionals in the knowledge and skills necessary to provide traumas intervention or conflict resolution services in zones of ethnopolitical warfare (EPW). The curriculum was designed through an interactive conference that brought together over thirty specialists from a number of regions of the world who had experience and expertise working in EPW war zones. Sponsorship of the conference was provided by the American and Canadian Psychological Associations through their joint Initiative on Ethnopolitical Warfare, by Divisions 9 and 48 of APA, and by Psychologists for Social Responsibility....In the face of the incredible human problems brought about by EPW, the APA/CPA Presidential Initiative considers it urgent that psychologists collectively and systematically broaden and apply their knowledge and skills to understand and deal with the social and psychological elements that relate to their areas of expertise...." (from the introduction to the curriculum) It can be accessed on the Psychologists for Social Responsibility website, www.psysr.com, and on the Canadian Psychological Association website, http://cpa.ca/epw/epw.
