WHAT IS PSYCHOLOGY'S ROLE IN PROMOTING PEACE AND JUSTICE?

The American Psychological Association's Board of Directors
Subcommittee on Psychology's Response to Terrorism recently issued a
report asking psychologists to do what they can during this time of
crisis (http://www.radpsynet.org/admin/response.html). What does APA
call for? Creating stress reduction programs, helping the war effort,
and protecting psychology's turf.

We think psychology can do better! Please join us for a Boston-area
discussion of the APA statement and help us figure out together what
steps we can take, as psychologists, to help promote peace and
justice.
