Dear Pinar Ilkkaracan, Thank you so much for your message. It touched my heart in very healing ways. I have, indeed, thought of Turkey's earthquake and other catastrophes, especially in terms of the loss of life we have experienced. We are also very concerned about a chain reaction of violence and are working to develop messages to our policy makers to help them think through other possibilities besides military responses. If you, or your colleagues, have information or ideas that you would like to offer from your perspectives I would be delighted to hear about them. I will pass them on to Psychologists for Social Responsibility's Steering Committee members. In the meantime, it is very good to know that you are out there doing your good work. All the best, Anne Anne Anderson National Coordinator Psychologists for Social Responsibility 2604 Connecticut Ave. NW Washington, DC 20008 (202) 745-7084 (202) 745-0051 fax psysrusa@cs.com or psysripn@aol.com www.psysr.com
