SEEKING INFORMATION ON RESOURCES ON WOMEN'S HUMAN RIGHTS (CAMEROON)

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are a non-governmental organisation and have with keen interest been
actively working on the rights of women and helping them to fight for
their rights. My objectives are to alert public opinion to the
inequalities that are imposed on women through practices and customs, to
educate the grassroots woman on their rights and obligations. My
speciality includes amongst others: women and xenophobia/violence,
traditional practices and customs against women.

I therefor write to seek for support (mostly advice, books, journals and
publications) as well as affiliation with other NGO's working on similar
projects world-wide. I will also be interested in attending and sharing my
experiences at international conferences on women and gender.

Presently, we have embarked on the sensitisation of the local woman and
have also written some articles for publishing on the local newspapers.

My contact address is:

               KHAN TAKU
               P.O Box 448 Buea,
               South West Province.
               Cameroon.

Thanks for your time and consideration while I'm hoping to hear from you
soon, I remain,

Yours truly
