Note from the moderator:

In keeping with our new and "enhanced" mode of operation, I am sending you an
announcement that I received from Brandon Hamber of a very interesting
resource, available on line, from the Centre for the Study of Violence and
Reconciliation in South Africa that I think will be of interest to members of
this listserv.

Thank you very much, Brandon!

Regards,

Marcy Bernbaum

TEN YEARS OF RESEARCH ON VIOLENCE, RECONCILIATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS ONLINE

The Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation in South Africa is
happy to announce that 10 years of our research is now available online.
Because of the organisation's access to grassroots communities, and because
of its intervention programmes which use research to develop educational
programmes, the research produced by the CSVR is of the best produced in the
area of Human Rights in the Southern African Region. This key research can
be found on the CSVR's web site at http://www.wits.ac.za/csvr.

As well as providing a living archive of the history of the organisation, we
trust that this resource will be an invaluable asset which will enrich the
work of all human rights practitioners and others, both on the African
continent, and the broader international community. Details of our most
recent work can be found at http://www.wits.ac.za/csvr/pubsnew.htm, and can
be ordered from the Centre, or purchased at the organisation's offices in
Braamfontein, Johannesburg. If you would like to be on the CSVR's mailing
list, and receive notification of our regular monthly seminars, please e-mail
info@csvr.org.za.
