On the Occasion of the 29th sessions of the United Nations committee
Against Torture during 11-22 November 2002 and its consideration of
the Egyptian Report on torture, to which the Human Rights Center for the
Assistance of Prisoners delegation has presented an alternative report
to committee.

The HRCAP would like to forward to your Attention the Committee against
Torture conclusions and observations on Report of Egypt.

The HRCAP calls upon the Egyptian Government to meet with The Human
Rights Organizations in Egypt to work together on implementing
recommendations of the United Nations committee against Torture and
improve the human rights condition in Egypt.
