HREA Listservs
HREA hosts several listservs and mailing lists. Below
you will find a description and a link to the archives of our main lists.
Educa-DH
Educa-dh, the Inter-American Human Rights Education Network, is an on-line
forum in Spanish and Portuguese. "Educa-dh" is an initiative of HREA,
UNESCO and the Inter-American Institute for Human Rights (IIDH). The
list is moderated by IIDH in Costa Rica; the working languages are Portuguese
and Spanish.
ERC-L
This mailing list provides bi-weekly updates and summaries of new curricula, lesson plans, textbooks, and other training materials available in HREA's Electronic Resource Centre.
Global Human Rights Education listserv
This moderated forum has regular messages with upcoming trainings and
conferences; studies and "lessons learned"; human rights education resources;
and new projects from around the world. The list currently has over
4,600 members from approximately 180 countries and is open to anyone
interested in human rights education and training.
HR-Education-RU
The Human Rights, Citizenship, Democracy and Culture of Peace and Education listserv is an on-line forum in Russian moderated.
North American Human Rights Education listserv
This moderated forum is designed to keep the North American human rights and education community informed about developments in the field that are of specific interest to Canada, Mexico and the United States.
HR-Headlines
The Human Rights Headlines mailing list provides daily news based on press releases issued by national, regional and international non-governmnental and international organisations.
HRLC-L
This mailing list provides regular updates and summaries of new learning tools in available in HREA's on-line Human Rights Learning Centre. HRLC-L is also available in Arabic, French, German, Russian and Spanish. To receive different language versions, please send a message to hrlc@hrea.org.
HURIDOCS-TECH
Huridocs-tech is a moderated list on the use of new technologies for human rights work, in collaboration with HURIDOCS International.
Psychology and Human Rights
The listserv is the International Peace Practitioners Network Internet discussion group on Psychology and Human Rights--a joint project of Psychologists for Social Responsibility and the Society for the Study of Peace, Conflict and Violence: Peace Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association.
Health and Human Rights
The mailing list distributes announcements of upcoming events, news, publications and other resources relevant to health professionals that are interested in human rights.
Legal Professionals and Human Rights
The mailing list distributes announcements of training opportunities, publications and other resources relevant to judges, lawyers, paralegals and other legal professionals that are interested in human rights.

The "hr-media" mailing list provides information on issues related to human rights and the media.
Children's Rights
The "child-rights" mailing list provides information on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, child labour, and other issues related to children's rights
Prisoner Rights
The "prisoner-rights" mailing list provides information on the rights of prisoners, prison monitoring and issues related to prison reform.
Refugee Rights
The "refugee-rights" mailing list provides information on issues related to the rights of refugees and displaced persons.
Women's Human Rights
The "women-rights" mailing list provides information on issues related to women's human rights.
