Strasbourg, 07.07.2005 - The Canadian Minister of Justice, Irwin Cotler, will pay an official visit to the Council of Europe on Friday 8 July. Minister Cotler will meet Council of Europe Secretary General Terry Davis, Deputy Secretary General Maud de Boer-Buquicchio, the President of the European Court of Human Rights Luzius Wildhaber, and the Commissioner for Human Rights, Alvaro Gil-Robles. During this visit Minister Cotler will sign the First Additional Protocol to the Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime, concerning the criminalisation of acts of a racist and xenophobic nature committed through computer systems.
