DEVELOPMENT ALTERNATIVES WINS GRANT FOR CYBER CAFé PROJECT

(25 aug 2003) Our partner Development Alternatives' "Hope Incubator
Project" is one of the 15 projects that have won grants worth
$600,000 under Samsung’s DigitAll Hope 2003 programme. Development
Alternatives plans to start a revolving fund that would be used to
provide assistance to young entrepreneurs to start 48,000 cyber cafes
in India’s rural areas.
