from: Maaike Hogenkamp and Saskia Bal Secretariat of the ECCHRD sim.documentation@law.uu.nl Dear colleagues and friends, The European Co-ordination Committee on Human Rights Documentation (ECCHRD) is a regional network of human rights documentation centres and human rights organisations based in Europe. Its main activity is to organise a regular meeting where documentalists and information workers come together to discuss issues of common interest and to exchange experiences. We are happy to inform you that we found a place to have the 27th meeting of the ECCHRD. Stefania Saccarola from the <http://www.ema-humanrights.org/index.asp> European Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation kindly offered to host this year's meeting in Venice. The meeting will be held from 2-4 June 2004. At this moment we are still working on the draft agenda for the meeting. Suggestions for agenda items are most welcome! Please send your ideas to the ECCHRD Secretariat (sim.documentation@law.uu.nl). We hope to send out the draft agenda in the course of next week. Minutes of previous meetings can be found at the ECCHRD website: http://www2.law.uu.nl/english/sim/library/ecchrd/meetings.html Participants at the meeting are expected to cover their own costs. We hope that this announcement will enable you to start planning for your participation in the 27th meeting and are looking forward to seeing you in Venice!
