Library Terms That Users Understand

The goal of this site is to "help library web developers decide how to
label key resources and services in such a way that most users can
understand them well enough to make productive choices." Includes links to
usability studies, suggested best practices, and a list of related
resources, some paper-based and some on the Web. From John Kupersmith, a
librarian at the University of California, Berkeley.
