ASIAN YOUTH COUNCIL: Workshop on ICT Infocomm Technology
Date: 16-20 April, 2002
Location: Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

This workshop, which is co-organised by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF)
and the Asian Youth Council (AYC), aims to train youth organisation
managers and youth workers to organise online-based information. It will
include training on the benefits and effects of the Internet, Intranet and
Electronic mail; will educate participants on the social and ethical
aspects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT); will enforce
online networking of regional and international youth entities; and will
link-up the national organisations with international government
organisations (GOs) and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
