huridocs-tech Palestine gets Internet domain name

PALESTINE GETS INTERNET DOMAIN NAME

Acting on a recommendation from the Internet Corporation for
Assigned Names and Numbers, a private group that oversees
the system of Internet addresses, the U.S. Commerce
Department has approved the separate Internet domain name
".ps" for Palestinian Web sites. Of the more than 200
country codes that exist, most are for independent countries
but some are for territories. (AP/San Jose Mercury News 22
