huridocs-tech Meeting of European Co-ordination Committee on Human Rights Documentation (ECCHRD)

Dear Friends,

We have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the 23rd Meeting of
the European Co-ordination Committee on Human Rights Documentation -
ECCHRD. The meeting will take place from 24-25 March 2000 in Barcelona,
Spain, in cooperation with the local organizer Montse Tafalla, Institut de
Drets Humans de Catalunya (IDHC). A draft agenda is enclosed for your
information.

Registration

Kindly confirm your participation latest by Monday 28 February 2000, using
the attached registration form. Please note that all costs related to
travel and hotel have to be borne by the participants themselves. There is
no registration fee. Please contact us or the IDHC if you need a formal
invitation for visa applications.

Reception

You are cordially invited to a reception hosted by the IDHC on the eve of
the meeting, that is Thursday 23 March 2000 from 18.00 to 20.00.

Hotel

It has unfortunately been impossible to make bulk reservations in
Barcelona for this meeting. You are therefore requested to make your own
booking, perhaps via a travel agency that can make you a combined offer of
travel + hotel. A list of proposed hotels, all located in the center near
the venue, can be obtained from lotte_wissing@irct.org.

Venue

The meeting will take place in the "Centre Civic Pati Llimona", Regomir
Street no. 3, in the center of Barcelona, near Saint Jaume Place with the
City Hall and the Catalan Government headquarters.

Additional practical details about the venue, as well as the final agenda
and the list of participants will be communicated in early March 2000 to
those who have registered. Looking forward to seeing you!
