CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

THEME: Global Distributed Intelligence for Everyone

The INET 2000 Program Committee solicits abstracts of papers
and suggestions for panels, tutorials and poster sessions
which describe innovative developments, encourage vigorous
discussion and further the understanding of the Internet.

INET, the annual meeting of the Internet Society, is the
premier international event for Internet and internetworking
professionals. It is the crossroads at which the world's
cyberspace pioneers meet to exchange experiences and plan
their next steps. Each year, network technologists, industry
and government representatives, and policy experts meet to
share information and shape the future of the Internet and
its related internetworking technologies. Nowhere can such a
broad cross-section of important movers of the Internet be
found in one single spot. INET provides the best general
coverage of the Internet, as well as an exceptionally

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

The official language of the conference is English. All
abstracts/proposals must be submitted in English.

Abstracts will necessarily include:

A clear and, hopefully, catchy title.

A two line (at the very most) summary of the abstract. It
should be used to explain why what you are proposing is
really interesting to a world audience.

A one page, single-spaced, abstract of your paper. Please,
respect the length! Again state your point clearly, outline
your thesis regarding that point, describe the kind of
evidence that you will adduce and do not forget to explain
why you think it is important that someone coming from a
different continent should want to listen to you. INET is a
global affair. At the end of your abstract, please rate your
own abilities as an orator, as well as your ability in
English (weak, average, fluent, charismatic).

We want first rate papers delivered by first rate speakers.
