The successful candidate will report to the ANERA Middle East Representative in Jerusalem. Responsibilities: formulate and refine the project designed to significantly upgrade IT training capacity in Palestine and relate this capacity to demand in Palestine, the region (Israel and Jordan), and the world; interact successfully with Palestinian institutions of higher education with respect to IT; interact successfully with Israeli, Palestinian, Jordanian and other industries that need IT certified professionals; assist institutions in developing appropriate IT curricula for IT demand; conceptually and practically relate future Palestinian supply of IT professionals to local and regional demand for IT professionals; periodically visit U.S. IT industry to keep up-to-date on technology and network on behalf of the project; assist in raising additional funds for the project. Requirements: B.A. or B.Sc. in appropriate field; graduate work or certificates in IT; 3-5 years IT related work experience; familiarity with U.S. IT industry; fluency in English, Arabic and, preferably, Hebrew; ability to successfully relate to professionals and management in different settings and cultures.
