Summer Short Course:  The Virtual Foreign and International
Law Library

What it is:  A three credit, graduate level (M.L.S.) short
course that will examine the state-of-the-art of online
research in foreign and international law.  Topics will
include the United Nations, the European Union, the WTO,
international tax, trade and business, and foreign law, and
general topics such as copyright issues and selection and
evaluation of electronic materials.

Prerequisite:  A basic course in American legal research, or
equivalent experience.  In addition, extensive advance
reading will be required before the course begins.

When:  June 21-25, 1999, 9:00-5:00 (six class hours per
day), plus homework exercises in the evenings.
