Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program

The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International

Greetings!

It is our pleasure to introduce the Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies
Program, an approximately three-month certificate program held in
Bangkok, Thailand at the new Rotary Center for Peace and Conflict
Studies established at Chulalongkorn University. The program is focused
on providing professionals from various industries and professions with
the conflict resolution tools they need to foster peace and peaceful
conflict resolution in their fields. The requirements for this program
are centered around appropriate professional experience and proven
commitment to the field. Two sessions are held annually with 30
participants in each session. The sessions are conducted in English and
are taught from July-September and January-April.

Please see our website at
http://www.rotary.org/foundation/educational/rpcsp/index.html for
program details and to download applications. Please also feel free to
contact us at bangkokpeacestudies@rotaryintl.org.

This is a unique program and we are very excited at the potential it has
for success. Peacemakers are desperately needed in the growing
instability of the world stage and this program can train and equip
individuals already facing the challenges of conflict with the mediation
tools necessary to accomplishing the peaceful resolution of those
conflicts. We look forward to working with towards the success of this
program and the peaceful resolution of conflict worldwide.

Kindest regards,
