6th Summer Course on International Women's Human Rights

Greetings from the Women And Gender Institute (WAGI) - Miriam College,
Philippines!

For five consecutive years, WAGI - Miriam College, with the cooperation of
the College Dean's Office of Miriam College, has successfully organized
summer workshops on women's human rights. This year, we are pleased to
invite you to the 6th Summer Course on International Women's Human Rights
2004, which will be held at the Caritas Seminar Room of Miriam College on
May 3 to 8, 2004 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily.

The Summer Course seeks to: provide a specialised orientation/ training on
women's human rights to mid-career public servants, educators and
professionals; deepen understanding, systematise and institutionalise the
study o, human rights from gender and Asian perspectives; and, generate
materials to constitute a sourcebook and regional database on women's
human rights.

Registration fee is PhP4, 000.00 (about US$ 80) for professionals and PhP
3000.00 (about US60) for academics and students. Registration fee for
non-Filipino participants is US$100 payable at the course venue. Fee does
not include airfare and accommodation. Information on airfare and
accommodation rates and assistance with booking may be requested from the
organisers.
