Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka; Southeast Asian countries like
Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam;
and the People's Republic of China.

Applications of AFA must not be more than 45 years old. They must also
have a master's or doctorate degree, be proficient in English or in the
language of the host country, and have a minimum of three years of
university teaching experience for scholars, or five years of work
experience for professionals. Successful applicants are provided
