Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce a multi-disciplinary conference being hosted by the School of Public Policy (University College London) on the subject of: **"THE 'LEGALISATION' OF HUMAN RIGHTS"** on 25-26 April 2003. Key contributors to the study of human rights have been gathered at this conference to discuss the balance sheet of human rights practice, studies and research, in the light of the dominance of legal approaches to human rights questions. Speakers include: Jack Donnelly, Michael Freeman, Stanley Cohen, Francesca Klug, Ratna Kapur. The conference will also include a roundtable with practitioners as well as academics invited into the discussion. This is an exciting new project in the field of human rights policy studies.
