disability law. A Professor of Law at New York Law School, Professor
Perlin directs the Online Mental Disability Law Program and the

Action Center. Previously, he served as Director of the Division of Mental
Health Advocacy in the New Jersey Department of the Public Advocate, and

as a busy working professional. The majority of course content is
completed online, where you have access to a virtual community of
learners. Taught by experienced, distinguished scholars and practitioners,
each 14-week course includes:

- weekly lectures available on DVD, presented by leading experts
- weekly reading assignments detailing information on the subjects
relevant to your day-to-day success
- weekly meetings in a virtual classroom via chat sessions
- threaded question and answer discussions through message boards
- two day-long weekend seminars, held live at New York Law School,
where students meet and network with professors and each other
- personalized email access to the program's faculty and staff

To evaluate your progress throughout the course, you complete a short
mid-term writing assignment and a take-home final exam. Plus, you may opt
to receive a pass/fail or a letter grade.

The tuition for each course is $1,800.00, which includes access to the
course Web site and the 14 video streams of lectures per course. Group
discounts are available for 4 or more people. If you are a student at a
