Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to announce that the search for the Oak Fellowship for Human Rights at Colby College for Fall 2008 will be for a journalist working to promote human rights. The OAK fellowship offers a semester in residence at Colby, giving respite from front line human rights work, a $32K stipend, plus medical insurance, transportation, housing and utilities. For more information please see http://www.colby.edu/academics_cs/goldfarb/oak/ Applications forms will be available on line in late August. We will send a formal brochure announcing the fellowship at that time. If you know of individuals who might be deserving of this opportunity or organizations who might be able to assist in identifying candidates, we would appreciate any leads to add to our database for our August mailing. Please send any replies to oakhr@colby.edu. Thank you!
