3. SEEKING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR MA IN HUMAN RIGHTS

I Stanley Kiptanui wish to thank you for the e-mails that have enlightened
me on human rights. I am an Inspector of Police with the Criminal
Investigation Department (CID) and currently based at Central Police
Station In Nairobi, Kenya. I am a holder of Bachelor of Arts degree in
Sociology from University of Nairobi, Second Class Lower Division which I
was awarded in 1997. I joined the Kenya Police in 1999 after working as
untrained teacher and I wish to further my studies in human rights so that
I shall be able to offer training in this field to my colleagues in the
force. My main impediment in achieving this goal is that I am unable to
finance myself because the course is not offered in our local
universities. I am there appealing for financial assistance.

Thank you.
