Please do not respond to this message as it will be sent back to the list address and you will not receive an answer.***] PROGRAMME INTERNATIONAL DE STAGES SUR LES DROITS DE L'HOMME PROJETS DE BOURSES D'ECHANGES ET DE DEVELOPPEMENT PROFESSIONNELS 2007-2008 La mission et le travail du Programme International de Stages sur les Droits de l'Homme (IHRIP) sont informés par le fait que les activistes ont des connaissances et habilités qui sont importants pour le succès non-seulement de leur propre travail, mais aussi pour le travail d'autres activistes et organisations, soit dans leur propres pays, ou dans d'autres régions. Le mouvement de droits humains -- dans des pays et régions spécifiques, ainsi qu'au niveau international -- est renforcé à travers l'échange de ces connaissances, expériences et compétences. En conformité avec cette conviction, IHRIP rend disponible des bourses pour les organisations de droits humains en Afrique en Asie, au Moyen Orient, en Amérique Latine, dans les Caraïbes, en Europe Centrale de l'Est et dans la Communauté des Etats Indépendants pour mettre à même leurs équipes d'entreprendre des projets d'échanges de développement professionnel. Un projet peut être : * Un stage professionnel, à travers lequel un membre d'équipe d'un pays travaille en tant que membre temporaire du personnel d'une organisation d'accueil d'un autre pays où il/elle reçoit une formation dans un domaine spécifique. * Une formation sur place, pendant laquelle une personne originaire d;un pays et ayant une expérience professionnelle dans un domaine spécifique donne une formation au personnel d'une organisation dans un autre pays. * Un voyage d'études, à travers lequel un membre d'équipe d'une organisation apprend plus sur un domaine donné ou sur un stratégie ou approche en particulier en se rendant sur place et en consultant une ou plusieurs organisations des droits humains ou des institutions liées aux droits humains dans un ou plusieurs pays. N.B.: L'IHRIP donne peu la priorité à la participation aux cours de formation et aux séminaires. Ne seront prises en considération que les demandes de formation étroitement ciblées et répondant à un besoin institutionnel clairement défini. Les dates limites de dépôt des dossiers de candidature sont: * Le 30 avril, 2007 * Le 31 août, 2007 * Le 31 décembre, 2007 Les bourses couvrent les frais de voyage, une allocation minimum pour les besoins essentiels et une assurance santé pour le participant (ou formateur). El movimiento de los derechos humanos -- en países y regiones específicas, al igual que a nivel internacional -- es fortalecido a través del intercambio de este conocimiento, experiencia, y práctica. Conforme a este mandato, IHRIP tiene becas disponibles para el personal de organismos de derechos humanos en África, Asia, el Medio Oriente, América Latina, el Caribe, Europa Central y del Este, y la Comunidad de Estados Independientes para participar en proyectos de entrenamiento/intercambio profesional. El proyecto puede tomar una de estas formas: Inserción profesional: Un(a) participante realiza una pasantía en una organización que lo (la) acoge, capacitándose en un área específica o en una destreza particular. Capacitación in situ: Una persona de un país que tenga experiencia y conocimiento en un área específica de trabajo brinda capacitación al personal de una organización en otro país. Visitas de estudio: Un(a) participante realiza una investigación de carácter profundo o adquiere herramientas prácticas en un área de trabajo mediante visitas y consultas con dos o más instituciones de derechos humanos (o relacionados a los derechos humanos) en uno o más países. NOTA: El IHRIP da baja prioridad al apoyo para la asistencia a cursos o talleres. Las propuestas serán consideradas sólo en los casos en donde la capacitación deseada tenga un enfoque específico y satisfaga una necesidad institucional claramente definida. The human rights movement--in specific countries and regions as well as internationally--is strengthened through the exchange of this knowledge, experience and expertise. In line with this conviction, IHRIP makes grants available to human rights organizations in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, the Caribbean, East and Central Europe and CIS countries to enable their staff to undertake professional development exchange projects. A project can be: * A professional attachment, through which a staff member from an organization in one country serves as a temporary staff member of a host organization in another country, acquiring on-the-job training in a specific area of work or skill. * An on-site training, in which an individual from one country who has particular experience and expertise in a specific area of work provides training to the staff of an organization in another country. * A study tour, through which a staff member from an organization learns more about a specific area of work or about a particular strategy or approach to work by visiting and consulting with two or more human rights or human rights-related institutions in one or more other countries. N.B. IHRIP gives low priority to support for attendance at courses or workshops. Proposals for such support will be considered only in cases where the desired training is narrow in focus and fulfills a clearly defined institutional need. Deadlines for applications: - April 30, 2007 - August 31, 2007 - December 31, 2007 A grant covers the travel of the staff member or trainer as well as a basic living stipend and health insurance for the staff member (or trainer). Grants vary depending on the location and length of the project, and typically range from $1,000-10,000. IHRIP is unable to support: - academic research or study - training where the applicant and proposed host organization or trainer are in the same country.
