1. REQUESTING FEEDBACK ON SURVEY ON INCORPORATION OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN
RIGHTS CONVENTIONS IN VIETNAMESE LEGISLATION

Dear colleagues and mates,

My name is Nghia Hoang and I am doing my PhD programme in Jurisprudence of
Human Rights at the Manchester Metropolitan University School of Law, the
United Kingdom. My research is related to the incorporation of
international human rights conventions in Vietnamese legislation and their
implementation in practice. In this survey I focus on the evaluation of
the implementation of several key civil and political rights enshrined in
international covenant on civil and political rights to which Vietnam is a
state party. The overall aim of this survey is to look at the ways in
which international human rights standards have been incorporated into
Vietnamese legislation as well as have been respected and protected in
practice.

I am kindly asking any one of you who is Vietnamese scholar or student or
citizen, as a rights-holder, as well as those who can share views and
experiences on this issue with us, to fill in the survey form below. Your
help is greatly appreciated.

Any information herein will be kept confidentially. Please kindly help us
by spending just around 5-10 minutes to demonstrate your valuable
opinions. Here is the link to the survey:
