1. SEEKING A FUNDING PARTNER ORGANISATION (UGANDA)

Dear All,

We are SOSOCHALEGAP-PRO, a human rights activitists organization operating

Thank you and looking forward to a positive response.

2. REQUESTING A SCHOLARSHIP FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN AREA OF HUMAN
RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Dear Colleagues,

I am working for Cheshire Services Ethiopia (Cheshire home) community
based rehabilitation project located in Addis Ababa, the capital city of
Ethiopia. The project works in the areas of prevention of disability,
rehabilitation of person with disability, promoting inclusive education,
socio-economic empowerment of persons with disabilities and advocacy on
the human rights of persons with disabilities and their families.

By profession I am a sociologist (BA degree with five years experience as
project officer of the Community Based Rehabilitation Project in Cheshire
Services Ethiopa) and expert staff nurse (seven years experience).

Please help me in whatever possible way to get scholarship in the area of
disability and rehabilitation or other related profession to my
experience.

Sincerely Yours,

Ayele Wolde

3. LOOKING FOR SIMPLIFIED VERSIONS OF MAIN UN TREATIES AND EXEMPLARY
EXHIBITS ON HUMAN RIGHTS

I would be very grateful to know of websites or sources for simple
versions, in English, of the major UN treaties. We have found UDHR and the
UNCRC, but others seem elusive. Ideally, I would like to find versions
with simplified language set in a second column against the original text
so people can go to the original if they wish.

Secondly, we would be very grateful to be directed to any texts/images for
exhibitions you have used and found successful, that provide basic
introductions to human rights, to help us to get the best mix between
visuals and text. We are mainly looking for models of what works for you;
we would of course seek your permission to quote any material.
