Win a University Research Scholarship for PhD study at CCHRE

The Centre for Citizenship and Human Rights Education (CCHRE) welcomes
applications from prospective doctoral students. We have experience in
supervising PhD students in all of the following areas:

* Education for human rights and equalities 
* Citizenship education 
* Development education and global citizenship 
* Equity, diversity, inclusion and institutional development 
* Teachers' work, life histories and social and cultural change. 

If you are interested in applying for PhD study at CCHRE University of
Leeds you should contact CCHRE Director, Professor Audrey Osler: < >. The
University of Leeds is now advertising University Research Scholarships
for UK and EU students. These University Research Scholarships are for
take-up in October 2007. The Scholarships are available to new students
wishing to commence doctoral study in any Faculty of the University of
Leeds.

The Scholarships will provide academic fees at the UK/EU rate and a
maintenance grant between £8,400 and £12,600 per annum (full-time rate),
for up to 3 years, subject to satisfactory academic progress.

Closing Date for the Faculty of Education, Social Sciences and Law: 1st
June 2007
