2. SEEKING INFORMATION ON VICTIM'S RIGHTS SERVICES IN THE AMERICAS

Dear Colleagues:

As part of a project exploring the overlap between human rights and
victims rights in the Americas, I am seeking information and contacts
regarding legal, institutional, and community based (both governmental and
NGO) victims rights services in countries throughout South, Latin, and
North America.

The aim of the project, which is being undertaken with a colleague in
Criminal Justice, is to map the conceptualizations and
institutionalization of Victimology in the Americas. We hope that such a
map will prove useful for both practical and comparative purposes.

I know this is a huge and, for the present, a rather vaguely defined,
terrain, but any assistance. suggestions, connections or ideas would be
