2. LOOKING FOR FRENCH SPEAKING RESOURCE PEOPLE TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL
ASSISTANCE ON CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT ON CHILDREN'S AND HUMAN RIGHTS IN
SCHOOLS

Dear Colleagues,

I wonder whether you could refer us to French speaking resource people
(ideally with experience in West Africa) to provide technical assistance
to the development of teacher training modules on child and human rights
at school.

In rough, the person we are looking for would have to:

- accompany regional education departments in the development of teacher
training modules to include human / child rights education in day to day
classroom activities at school and school life
- support regional education departments to develop and include indicators
in performance reviews of teachers, measuring the application of what was
learnt during the training in classroom and school life
- support the development of activities and indicators measuring human
rights/child rights education impact on students in school performance and
classroom behavior
- support the development of Human Rights and Child Rights training
activities for Parent Associations to enable them to more effectively
contribute to school governance and in support of children's education
activities

This is it in a nutshell - detailed ToR are still under development. I
would be very thankful if you could direct us to somebody with the
potential to work with us on this project.
