Re: HRE in India - a vintage point

I totally agree with Maria. HRE is a tricky subject in the sense that if
we do not have as main objective to free mankind from all "mind-forged
manacles" [William Blake] it may well be empty rhetoric. That's why I am
suspicious of citizenship education. It has been used and is still used
for politicians to create nationalists for instance. I am Lindley of
Mauritius and a human rights education fundamentalist. Am not convinced of
many things in my life but I am sure of the power of HRE to liberate
individuals.
