Re: List of competence criteria for trainers in the field of human rights

Dear Colleagues,

International Debate Education Association (IDEA) has been working on
developing international trainer standards for our programmes and they are
available at {http://www.idebate.org/idt/} (please see the link to
detailed standards for certification on the page). The idea behind the
certification has been to assure quality control of the debate training
conducted by our trainers globally.

IDEA's mission is to promote debate and discussion among young people all
over the world on the issues affecting their lives and we use debate as a
tool to promote a discussion on human rights. To learn more about IDEA and
its activities please visit {http://www.idebate.org }.

We are a membership organization with members in over 30 countries.
Currently we are developing an accreditation system for our members with
more emphasis on quality assurance and standards.

IDEA would be happy to share with you its accreditation mechanisms.

Feel free to contact me for details.

best

Marcin
