SEEKING INFORMATION ON TEACHING/TRAINING CIVIL SERVANTS ON HUMAN RIGHTS (ARMENIA) The new legislation on civil service which came into force in 2002 requires a regular training of civil servants in Armenia - a civil servant is under the duty to pass a training at least every three years. In 2005 the Civil Service Council is going to complete the first cycle of trainings organised for the civil servants and further improve the Curriculum of trainings for the next 3 years based on the lessons learnt. There is a readiness from the side of Civil Service Council to pay a special emphasis on human rights component while shaping further the curriculum. In this regard, I would appreciate to get information about experience of other countries in teaching/training civil servants on human rights. I thank you in advance and look forward for getting feedback.
