[hr-education] Problems with the listserv

Dear Members,

You may have noticed that during the past weeks there have been fewer
communications posted on this listserv. Also, if you tried to send a
message to the list it was probably returned to you as undeliverable.

We wanted to keep you informed that we have been facing a deluge of spam
and viruses recently and consequently have had to disable the list
periodically. Partly as a consequence of the success of the list (more
than 3500 list members!) and of the HREA website (almost 2 million page
views per month) the list address is a favourite target for spammers and
also prone to receiving viruses. We are working to resolve this and in the
next few weeks will launch a new listserv software and a new firewall,
which will allow us to go back to the usual level of messages and
communication with members.
