Online course on Nutrition Rights (January-May 2005)



ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ONLINE COURSE ON NUTRITION RIGHTS, SPRING 2005

An online course on the human right to adequate food will be offered once
again, in spring 2005, by Professor George Kent of the University of
Hawai'i. Participants will develop skill in applying the human rights
approach to food in selected countries, and also in a variety of special
situations such as the Middle East, prisons, and government nutrition
programs.

The core text is George Kent's Freedom from Want: The Human Right to
Adequate Food.

This course begins on Monday, January 10, 2005, and ends on May 10, 2005,
when the final project is due.
