IPCRI is preparing a Teachers' guide and lesson plans for Peace

4. LOOKING FOR HRE MATERIALS IN SWAHILI

Dear list members,

I kindly request you to inform us about the following matter. Our
project "Rights at Home": An Approach to the Internalization of Human
Rights in Family Relations in Islamic Communities" intends to
organize a Capacity Building Workshop in Tanzania in August 2003.
During the workshop we would like to use Swahili material for human
rights education but we do not know whether such material is actually
available. We do have material in English and Arabic about universal
human rights and related issues, but we would very much like to have
something similar in Swahili.

We would be very grateful if you could advise us in this matter.

Yours sincerely,

Mariette van Beek
