Resource writer needed for Bill of Rights in Schools Project (Northern Ireland)



   RESOURCE WRITER

The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission, on behalf of the Bill of
Rights in Schools Project, seeks applications from suitably qualified
candidates to write and produce a human rights education manual for use in
post-primary schools. The contract will commence in September 2003 and the
manual will be produced by December 2003.

Applications are welcome from individuals or organisations. The contract
will be completed by the successful candidate working in a free-lance
capacity.

Experience required.

i. Experience of writing an educational or training resource.
ii. Significant experience (3-5 years) of teaching gained either in
schools, adult education or in community development settings.
iii. Experience of writing or teaching  about human rights.

Applications must be submitted by June 23 2003.
