1. REQUEST FOR COURSES/VISITING OPPORTUNITIES

Dear colleagues,

I am a human rights activist involved with human rights work in
Bangladesh since 1986. The organisation where I am working is called
"Hotline Human Rights Bangladesh". I see that human rights violation
is taking place in all over the world in a new way using new techniques by
the violators of human rights including the government mechanisms. I think
sometimes that the active human rights workers should be more united to
create new techniques to handle all the situaion created in a modern way
in all over the world.

I have been thinking since I joined this office, to visit some developed
countries such as some European countries and also to visit some very much
underdeveloped countries such as some places of South America or African
countries. I would like to attend a short course on human rights either in any
country of Africa or in European countries like Denmark, The Netherlands or
Norway.

If anyone could help me to contact some organisation and the source of funding
to attend such course, I will remain ever grateful.

on July 2003.I have received partial sponsorship from the
college of 3760 pounds which is 50% . I am
desperately seeking for the remaining 50% scholarship
