2. SEEKING PARTNERS FOR FOLK THEATRE PROJECT IN BANGLADESH

Dear members,

We are a Government registered NGO of Bangladesh. We work in Khulna,
southwest coastal belt in Bangladesh near Sundarbans. LOSAUK (Loke Nattya
O Sanskritik Unnaya Kendro - Organization of People's Action for
Socio-cultural Development) has been working in this region since 1989. We
have developed a project called 'Use of jatra (folk theatre) for human
rights development'. It will work through out the country. The duration of
the project is three years and training, advocacy, research and
performances for awareness are the components and activities of the
prepared project.

The focus has been made on the issues of child rights, land rights, child
& women trafficking, right of justice & rights of gender equality. We
contribute working areas, offices, manpower and staff of our organization
as well as training equipment and trainers, but we need other costs of the
project to be equally shared. The project proposal is ready but we are
looking for a partner or a suitable donor to implement the project
together from coming June 2003.

If any interested organization shows their interest in the project work,
we can send the ready project proposal through email as well as we can
exchange dialogue for future initiatives.

Thank you for your attention. For more information, please write me at the
email address below.

Best regards.
