HRE and reconciliation

Dear List Members:

As you may be aware, Sri Lanka is now in a peace process. The Prime
Minister's office started a National Working Group on Reconciliation, and
has asked the public for comments and input. I am interested in bringing
international experiences to the discussion.

I am looking for examples, taken from list members' practical experience as
educators, that provide evidence that human rights education leads to
reconciliation between individuals and groups that have been in conflict.
Do any members have experiences to share that address this issue?

Thank you for your kind attention.
