[hr-education] "Child Rights, Classroom and School Management" training (Lund, 22 September-10 October 2003)

Dear Colleagues,

Sida's Education Division has taken the initiative to organise an Advanced 
International Training Programme on "Child Rights, Classroom and School 
Management", a course that Lund University Education has been contracted to 
carry out during three years, starting in September 2003.

The course is one of various ways in which we would like to promote issues 
of democracy and human rights to, in and through education in our partner 
countries.  It is based on our Position Paper Education, Democracy and 
Human Rights in Swedish development co-operation.

Besides participants from Sida's partner countries, some room is available 
also for Swedish participants. In addition to make you aware of this 
initiative; we therefore hope that you can stimulate appropriate persons to

Please note that applications shall be sent to Lund University (not to 
Sida) at the latest on May 30, 2003.
