[hr-education] New global overview of the right to education

Global overview of Obligations on right to education: ratifications,
reservations and constitutions from: www.right-to-education.org

Results:

*	Over 30 have committed themselves to all the existing international
	human rights obligations related to the right to education without
	reservations
*	142 countries have constitutional provisions recognising the right
	to education
*	15 states allow individual complaints against them on the right to
	education to all international procedures

However,

*	At least 44 countries have no explicit constitutional guarantee of
	the right to education
*	52 states deny access to any international procedure allowing
	individual complaints on the right to education
*	Countries which make international commitments to provide compulsory
	education free of charge, as a right, do not always repeat the
	commitment in their constitutions

The Right to Education Project has compiled an international overview of
legal measures taken to implement the right to education. This information

pages.
