Human Rights Educator's Training Programme (Mumbai, 2 June-5 July 2003)

Dear friends,

Greetings from YUVA and PDHRE!

We are happy to inform you that under the aegis of the South Asian
Learning Institution for Human Rights Education, a joint initiative of
PDHRE, the People's Movement for Human Rights Education and YUVA, Youth
for Voluntary Action, we are organizing a 5-week Training Programme for
Human Rights Educators at the YUVA Center in Mumbai, India, developing a
new vocation: human rights educators for social and economic
transformation at the community level, an integral part of the three year
Global Human Rights Cities Program.

The training-program has been rescheduled to 2 June-5 July 2003, a 5-week
programme, the 5th week being optional for those who may need to get back
to their work. However, we would strongly encourage applicants to consider
attending the 5th week as it will focus on building self-awareness as well
as training skills.

For more details about the programme, the brochure, application form and
draft design of the program please find on:
http://www.pdhre.org/salihre-training03.html

We would be glad to provide any further information on this programme, if
needed, both at <minar_p@yahoo.com> and/or
<sugandhi.baliga@yuvaindia.org>.
